Terms of use

Effective 27 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Expense Hunt: AI Money Tracker and related services provided by ThinkerCart (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Expense Hunt. Keep your sign-in credentials and device secure, provide accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law.

What Expense Hunt provides

Expense Hunt helps you record and organise personal financial information. It does not provide banking, payment-processing, brokerage, lending, credit-repair, tax, investment, accounting, legal, or financial-advice services. We do not access your bank account unless a future feature expressly tells you otherwise.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content and financial information you submit. You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display it only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the service. You are responsible for checking entries, reports, exports and AI suggestions before relying on them. Keep your own backups of important information.

AI features

AI features are optional and generate suggestions from your inputs. They can make mistakes and may be incomplete. Do not treat outputs as professional advice or as a substitute for your own judgment. When using AI, do not submit content that you do not have the right to use or disclose. Additional AI-processing details are in our Privacy Notice.

Premium features, purchases and cancellation

Some features require a paid Premium subscription. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, taxes, cancellation and refunds are shown before purchase and are governed by the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to your purchase. Subscriptions generally renew automatically unless cancelled through the store before the applicable renewal date. You may restore eligible purchases in the app. Deleting your Expense Hunt account does not cancel a store subscription.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its security or availability, probe or bypass access controls, reverse engineer except where law permits, use it unlawfully, or submit malware, infringing content, or content that violates another person’s privacy or rights.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address a security risk, or enforce these terms. Where practicable, we will give notice. See Account & data deletion for deletion information.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that records, reports, AI output or third-party services will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, ThinkerCart is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses arising from financial decisions based on the app.

Changes and governing law

We may update the service or these terms. For material changes, we will give notice where required. If you continue using the service after the effective date, you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise. Courts with mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law remain unaffected.
