Expense Hunt is a personal finance app by ThinkerCart, built so you can understand your spending without handing your financial life to anyone’s server.
Why we built it
Tracking money should be quick, and it should be private. Many apps want an account, your email, bank access and permission to analyse you. We wanted the opposite: an app that works the moment you open it, on your phone, even without internet.
How it works
- Local first. Your data is stored on your phone. The app never waits for the network.
- No Expense Hunt server for your records. We can’t read, sell or lose what we never receive.
- Bring your own AI. The assistant uses the provider and key you choose, so you decide who sees what you submit.
- Backup you own. Premium backs up to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive, optionally encrypted with a passphrase only you know.
- Fair pricing. Core tracking is free. Premium is optional, and your data is never locked away.
Built for how people actually pay
Cash, UPI, cards, wallets, EMIs, SIPs and split bills are first-class. Amounts follow each currency’s rules, so the app works well beyond India too.
